What we teach

Five styles, one standard

Some students come for one and stay for three. Nothing here is a taster — every batch works to a level, and the teacher tells you honestly where you are in it.

Hip Hop

Grooves, foundation steps and attitude. The style most of our students walk in asking for, and the one our annual day is built around.

Age 6+ · Beginner to advanced

Bharatanatyam

Classical training taught to syllabus, from adavus and hasta mudras through to a full margam. Progress is examined, not assumed.

Age 5+ · Syllabus based

Contemporary

Floor work, release technique and controlled falls. Built on strength and breath rather than tricks.

Age 10+ · Some training expected

Popping

Hits, waves, animation and isolation. Slow, precise work that rewards students who like drilling one movement until it is clean.

Age 10+ · Beginner to advanced

Freestyle

No set routine. A circle, a track nobody has heard yet, and the confidence to move first. Every batch ends the week here.

All ages · Open floor

How classes run

Pick the shape that fits your week

Term batches for students building over time, and short bookings for people who have a date in the calendar and six weeks to get ready for it.

Group classes

Fixed weekly batches grouped by age and level. The default for most students, and the reason our annual day looks the way it does.

Private classes

One teacher, one student. For wedding sets, auditions, exams or anyone who would rather not learn in a room full of people.

Syllabus based

Structured terms with set material and periodic assessment. Used for our classical training and for students working towards grades.

Choreography

A routine built for a specific occasion — sangeet, college fest, school function or competition. Booked as a short block, not a term.

Annual day

One night a year, the whole school gets a stage

Every batch performs — the six-year-olds who joined in April and the seniors who have been here a decade. Parents fill the hall, certificates go out at the end, and next term’s students are usually watching from row three.
